Maximum Age Criteria for Assistant Commissioner of Police Recruitment:

The maximum age allowed for Assistant Commissioner of Police post is "30 years". As far as your age is concerned, I am sure you are certainly eligible to apply for this Assistant Commissioner of Police post. In order to become Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), you are required to appear in CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The basic educational qualification required for Civil Services Examination is "Graduate Degree" or a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The minimum age required to appear in CSAT Exam is "21 years" and the maximum age must not exceed 30 years. There will be an age relaxation for reserved OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates. You will get 26 years by the time you complete your Graduation. So I am sure you are certainly eligible to apply for Assistant Commissioner of Police post.

The maximum age criteria for ACP is that one should not be more than 30 years when one want to appear in CSAT exam for general category but for OBC, SC/ ST category age relaxation is given according to govt.rules.
