Will I get job in Banking sector through IBPS exam? Eligibility to appear in IBPS exam with mentioned percentage in overall academics?


Helo sir
i scored 80% in my 10th and 58% in 12th
am doing btech engineering final year with 71%
am i eligible to write ibps exams??
Can i get banking job via ibps exam?

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

You have completed B.Tech degree so you are eligible for IBPS Clerical, PO, RRB and IT officer exam.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for IBPS Clerk exam.

Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years old.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for IBPS Clerk exam.

The candidate age must be in between 21 to 30 years.

IBPS holds the Specialist Officers exams for the below posts:-

I.T. Officer (Scale-I)
Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)
Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)
Law Officer (Scale I)
Technical Officer (Scale I)
HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I)
Marketing Officer (Scale I)
I.T. Officer (Scale-II)
Law Officer (Scale II)
Chartered Accountant (Scale II)
Finance Executive (Scale II)

Age Limit for all Scale 1 posts
Minimum 20 years
Maximum 35 years

IBPS RRB Exam :

Officer Scale III : Below 40 years

Officer Scale II :Not less than 21 years and not greater than 32 years .

Officer Scale I : Not less than 18 years and not greater than 28 years

Age relaxation is provide for reserved category.

SC/ST ==> 5 years .
OBC ==> 3 years .
PWD ==> 10 years .
Ex-Servicemen ==> 5 years .
Widows ==> 9 years .

Selection process for IBPS exam -
1)Written test
2) Personal interview.

I am pursuing b.com final year in accounts specialization, can i write ibps exams now
