Hi friends, can you please tell me about the procedure for getting admission in MIHMCT-Chennai for studying BSc(Catering Science & Hotel Management) course? Kindly let me know about the admission procedure asap.

Admission procedure to study B.Sc (Catering Science & Hotel Management) course in MIHMCT-Chennai is mentioned below:-

—> You have to collect the Application form and Prospectus from the Institute Office on Payment of Rs 300/- in person and Rs.350 by Post by DD favoring MIHMCT payable at Chennai.

—> The filled-in application form along with below listed documents should be sent to the institute office on or before stipulated due date :-

—> Original and Xerox Copy of X Std and Hr.Secondary Mark Statement.
—> Original and Xerox Copy of Transfer Certificate.
—> Copy of Community Certificate. (If applicable).
—> 5 passport size photograph (White background).
—> Certificate of physical fitness.

Admission will be on the basis of performance in the entrance exam conducted by the concerned university to which the institute is affiliated. You need to have class 12th qualification with 50% marks from a recognized board of education to appear for the entrance exam.

You will get admission at your choice of college through counselling if you have got decent rank in the entrance exam according to the reputation of the college.

You would need to contact the Madras Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology to get the Application forms and Prospectus from the office which would cost Rs.300 or through post by sending a Demand draft of Rs.300 in favor of MIHMCT payable at Chennai.

After filling the application form completley submit it to the college along with the following documents=)
1. Original and Xerox Copy of X Std and Hr.Secondary Mark Statement.2.Copy of caste Certificate. 4. passport size photograph 5. Certificate of physical fitness.

==> Fill the application form with all the required details and attach the xerox copy of 12th marksheet, transfer certificate, community certificate, certificate of physical fitness and 5 passport size photographs with white background.

==> After the evaluation of the application form, the selected candidates would be informed by mail. Admission would be confirmed upon the payment of fees.
