Sir, i am interested in appearing IMA. But the problem is my percentage which is exactly 45% at graduation level. So i want to know if i am eligible to appear in IMA or not?

Yes, you can join Indian Military Academy after Graduation and you can join in Indian Military wing by qualify in the Combined Defence Service (CDS) conducted by the UPSC. There is no such minimum marks required for CDS exam.

Eligibility Criteria for CDSE (IMA):-

- The applicant should have completed Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university and final year appearing candidate of Graduation course are also eligible to appear in this exam.

- To join IMA your age should be in between 19 to 24 years and there is no relaxation in Age for any category candidates.

- Only single unmarried male candidates are eligible to appear in this exam.

If you are talking about Indian Military Academy then surely you can get into IMA through CDS exam because there is no percentage criteria mentioned by UPSC. You just need to perform well in the written exam and SSB.

I am from Bhutan and I would like to join in IMA. The Mark's required is minimum of 60 percentage. And I have only 59 percentage. Am I eligible or am I not?
