Yes, you are eligible to apply for Computer engineering course after completing a diploma in automobile engineering course. You can join B. Tech in Computer engineering course through the lateral entry scheme after completing the Diploma course. After successfully completing the diploma course you can directly join the 2nd year in B. Tech computer engineering. There are lots of engineering colleges in India, which accepts lateral entry.

LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test) Eligibility Criteria:-

-Applicant must complete the Diploma course from a recognized board.
-The applicant must secure minimum 60% percentage of marks without any pending backlogs.
-Applicant age should be not more than 28 years of age.

So, If you're qualified in LEET Entrance Examination then definitely you you may get admission for B.Tech course in computer engineering course.
