Re: Can a Urdu student appeare in IAS exam?
Yes, Urdu-speaking students can appear in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam. The IAS exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in India and is open to all Indian citizens who meet the eligibility criteria. The UPSC does not impose any language restrictions for the exam, and candidates can choose to write their answers in any of the recognized languages, including Urdu.
It's important to note that the IAS exam is a highly competitive and challenging examination that tests candidates' knowledge, aptitude, and analytical skills. It consists of three stages: the Preliminary examination, the Main examination, and the Personality Test (Interview). Candidates need to qualify in each stage to progress to the next. The exam syllabus covers a wide range of subjects, including history, geography, polity, economics, science, and current affairs. . |
