Re: Chances to become a Scientist in ISRO for a BSc(Mathematics) Honours student?
There are no chances of becoming a Scientist in ISRO after Only in B.Sc in Maths. Only B.Sc is not sufficient for you in becoming a Scientist in ISRO. After B.Sc you have to do M.Sc . Then only you are eligible for Scientist in ISRO.
There is another criteria for Scientist in ISRO is after Bsc (physics) you can join as Technical Assistant, ISRO has a option of part-time/correspondence study, after completing Msc you will promoted as Scientist-SC. Do M.Sc after graduating. But for Scientist in ISRO M.Sc eligibility is- 1. For remote sensing-master's in geophysics/ geology/ physics. 2. For space application-MSc in geophysics/ geology/physical oceanography/Phd in Physics. 3. VSSC- MSc in agriculture 4. Satellite Centres-MSc in Chemistry. Then only you are eligible for Scientist in ISRO. Thanks. |
