My nephew is appearing for 12th standard exam.
Would like to know, can he appear
for the MU-BHM entrance exam for this year?

Candidates who have completed their 12th standard from any stream are eligible to appear for MU-BHM entrance exam. And to appear for MU-BHM entrance exam, candidates should have minimum 50% of marks in his/her 12th standard. The minimum age required to apply for MU-BHM entrance exam, is 17 years and candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

MU-BHM Exam pattern:-
The MU-BHM Exam pattern is conducted in five sections
1. Numerical - 20 marks
2. Conceptual - 25 marks
3. General English - 20 marks
4. General Awareness - 20 marks
5. Case Study - 15 marks

Yes, definitely he can appear in MU-BHM entrance examination after completion of his 12th standard. Eligibility criteria required to appear in MU-BHM entrance examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board.

2. You must have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in your 12th standard board examinations.

3. You must have attained the minimum age of 17 years.

4. You must be a citizen of India.

The Manipal University has removed the BHM entrance examination 2-3 years back and now no entrance examination is conducted for admission to BHM course and admissions are done on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination i.e., 12th standard board examination and a merit list will be prepared by the university among the list of candidates who had applied for admission to BHM course in Manipal University.

The Manipal University BHM entrance test is conducted through Online Mode. The format of the test is Objective in Nature. Here is the eligibility criteria for the aspirants who are interested to take BHM course.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

* Candidate should be the citizen of India.

* The candidate's age should not be below the age of 17 years.

* Minimum Educational qualification is candidate should pass +2 from the recognized board of education.

* Candidate can be from any stream of study but he must have passed +2 with minimum of 50% of marks in final board of education.

* Eligibility will get relaxed as per government announcements.
