After completing B.com you are eligible for applying for ICAI exam. The procedure for ICAI is that you should apply for the CPT (Common Proficiency Test). The needed qualification for CPT Exam is that candidate should have completed a degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

The candidates who have completed graduation can be directly joined in Intermediate (IPC)course. Candidate should submit filled-in registration form for Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) course to the concerned Regional Office.

The cost of Prospectus is Rs. 100 and the registration form can be downloaded from http://www.icai.org

I would like to tell you that if you have passed in your graduation then you are eligible for ICAI course as there is no specific marks for this course, if you have completed your graduation then there will be an advantage for you that is you will not need to give any foundation examination for ICAI course, as you are eligible for the intermediate course. But if you get more then 60% in graduation then it becomes more easier for you because if you get more then 60% then you get some subject exemption in your second stage of ICAI course.

Eligibility Criteria:- You should have a minimum of 55% aggregate in B.Com.

If you have 55% or more in B.Com then you are eligible to apply for ICAI CA course through direct entry mode. You have to register for IPC course (Integrated Professional Course) first. Then you need to join three years practical training Undergo various trainings are various stages as follows:-

1. GMCS I Course
2. GMCS II Course
3. Advanced course on ITT during 3rd year of practical training

Then finally you should join CA final course and clear all the papers.
