Eligibility to study BTech for a candidate with 41% in 12th and 103 marks in JEE Main?
Friend, I am very confused what to do. Actually, I have appeared in 12th Science and secured only 41%. I have got 103 marks in JEE Main. I don’t want to give JEE Advanced. So, I would like to know that still I am eligible for admission in BTech?

The eligibility criteria for Joint Entrance Examination Main:
Academic qualification: Senior secondary board passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Percentage required: Candidate must have at least 75% marks in 12th board exam. Even for ordinary private engineering colleges, minimum of 50% marks required. You can not pursue engineering course with 41% marks in 12th. |

=> As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to get admission in any good or Average college after 41% in 12th and 103 marks in JEE Main.
=> For the admission of B.Tech course, the candidate should have passed 12th class with PCM subjects with at least 45% from a recognized board. => As per my suggestion, you should apply for the admission in that college whose reputation of the institute is very low and the seats are vacant every year. |

The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination. It is an All India Engineering entrance exam.
1. The minimum percentage of marks required in 12th for engineering course admission based on 12th is 75%. 2. You can not get admission in engineering course with 41% marks in 12th board examination. |
