There is no provision for lateral entry into MBBS in India, as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India (MCI). To pursue MBBS, you need to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET is a national level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India, including MBBS.

To appear for NEET, you should have completed your 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. The eligibility criteria for NEET may vary slightly depending on the state or institution where you plan to seek admission.

Once you clear NEET, you can apply for admission to various MBBS colleges in India. The admission procedure usually involves counseling sessions and document verification, followed by seat allocation based on your NEET score and rank. The counseling process may also vary depending on the state or institution where you seek admission.

It is worth noting that lateral entry into MBBS is not allowed in India, so you will have to start from the first year of MBBS.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
