After completion of 12th standard, I want to know about the entrance exams to be faced to join B.Tech course in Aerospace Engineering in India? Kindly tell me about that entrance exams only. Thank you in advance.

B.tech is a under graduate course and this is a 4 years course with 8 semesters in it. The entrance exams which you can attempt to write are:

• JEE Exam
• AMUEE Exam
• COMEDK UGET Exam
• UPESEAT Exam
• HITSEEE Exam
• VITEEE Exam
• JMIEEE Exam

There are many colleges which offers B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering are:

• Periyar Maniammai University, Thanjavur
• Hindustan University, Kelambakkam, Chennai
• Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Alliance University, Bangalore
• Amity University, Mumbai
• Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
• Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University, Visakhapatnam
• Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai
• Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Andhra Pradesh
• Guru Gram Institute of Aeronautical Engineering & Technology, Nagpur

To study B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) in India, you must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board and you need to appear in Engineering entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, EAMCET, KCET, etc. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in first year of four years B.Tech course.

1. Manipal University Online Entrance Test

2. EAMCET

3. AIEEE

4. Karnataka Common Entrance Test

And if you are interested to apply to study B.E/B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering through direct admission you should complete your 12th with minimum 50% of marks from the recognized university.

There is No Age limitation to study B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineeing.

Admission in this also taken through common entrance test conducted by the colleges for other B.Tech courses .


So you can apply in the colleges in which you seek to pursue your course . But to pursue your course from IIT ,NIT and other government recognised university then go through the entrance examination conducted by CBSE JEE Mains and after qualifying you have to appear for the next stage JEE Advance .

It is also a four year course as like other stream of engineering from there you are eligible to get an opportunity to do research in the ISRO or DRDO .
