Re: Minimum marks required in PCM for JEE Mains and Advance
The first thing I would like to mention here is that there is no requirement of minimum marks in aggregate in Class 12th for appearing in the JEE Mains and therefore any student having passed their Class 12th or equivalent from a recognized institute are eligible for appearing in the same examination.
As far as the eligibility for JEE Advanced is concerned, candidate is required to have managed at least 75% marks in aggregate in their Class 12th or must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%. So, if you satisfy either of the two criteria, then you will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced irrespective of marks in the individual subjects. For more details regarding the JEE Advanced, you can refer to the link https://jeeadv.ac.in/documents/IB-2023-English.pdf while for details regarding JEE Main, you can refer to the link www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. |

Re: Minimum marks required in PCM for JEE Mains and Advance
Candidates who have scored 75% marks in Class 12th of any education board will be eligible to get admission to the IIT JEE.
According to the eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2023 for SC / ST candidates, the qualifying marks should be 65%. Your friend can give JEE Main exam six times over a period of three consecutive years |
