Actuarial science probably 70% of the young school students in India will have 0% idea of this subject and it's good that you have built your knowledge on this to carry forward it as your career. Now talking about scope of it, we can say it's neither more or less since there is a risk at both ends if you are going to pursue this course. 1) Being a specific course of studying Mathematical and statistical methods to assess risks in insurance and finance industries the opportunities are numbered 2) Since the opportunities are numbered there is a lot of demand for this job to get bright candidates on job!

Eligibility to take up Actuarial Science course is as follows,

-> Candidate should be 18 years of age.

-> Passed 10+2 H.S.C or equivalent with 85% in Maths or Statistics.

-> Graduate or Post-Graduate with 55% aggregate.
