I am a student of medical science of class 12. I want to give the CDS exam and want to understand the meaning of graduation as per CDS exam norms.

CDS refers to Combined Defense Services and the meaning of Graduation degree in case of CDS examination eligibility norms is same as that in case of any other examination.

Graduation simply refers to a bachelor degree course in any discipline/subject.

So, if you have completed your graduation graduation degree course in any discipline you will be eligible for appearing in the CDS examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination concerned. You can appear in the same examination even being in the final year of same degree course.

CDS is Combined Defence Service. The examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment in defence services.

As per the eligibility candidates in the final year or passed graduation are eligible to appear for the examination if falling within the age limit criteria.

Those appearing for the CDS exam must have completed their graduation or atleast be appearing for the final exam of the degree.

Candidates must be physically and mentally fit as per the guidelines of UPSC.
Candidates are strongly adviced to get themselves medically tested before applying for CDS exam.

No specific percentage is required for CDS, graduation is enough to apply for the exam.
