What is the minimum percentage required in graduation for applying civil services exam?
Respected Sir/Mam,
How many minimum percentage in graduation for civil services exam? What are the criteria we need to satisfy to be eligible for the exam? Can someone please give me the complete and right information on the civil services exam? |

Civil Services examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year. Candidates who want to become IAS, IPS, IRS officer appear for this exam. The academic eligibility criteria for this exam is that candidate must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
You must have at least passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree to be eligible for this exam. UPSC has not set any specific percentage criteria for this exam. Those who have passed even with 35% marks in graduation are eligible to appear for this exam. The age limit for exam is 21-32 years. Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates. |

For civil services exam one must have graduation degree and age lies between 21 years to 32 years.Relaxation in age is given according to govt.norms.

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC every year. The examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates as Officer.
To appear for examination candidate need to have graduation from any recognised university and age limit between 21-32 years with relaxation in age for reserved category. You want to know about the eligibility criteria for UPSC civil services exam. Following are the eligibility criteria for this exam:
Educational qualification: The student must possess graduation degree from any recognized university. It does not matter how much percentage you score in the graduation degree. Even a third division student is eligible for this exam. Age Limit: 21 to 32 years. Relaxation in maximum age limit will be given to reserved category students. Minimum Percentage Required in Graduation for Civil Services Examination:
I am happy to say that there is no particular percentage is required in order to be eligible for giving Civil Services Examination. The only requirement to appear in Civil Services Examination is "Graduate Degree" PASS in any discipline from a recognized university. Here is the minimum educational qualification required for "Civil Services (Prelims) Recruitment". >> Qualification: Degree PASS of a recognized university or its equivalent >> Candidates who are doing their final year are also eligible to appear in Civil Services (Prelims) and Mains Examination. No, there is no minimum passing percentage to appear for Civil Service examination.
UPSC conducts Civil Services examination every year and is among the toughest examination. The examination is conducted in three stages. The required eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed graduation from an recognised university with passing percentage in any discipline. No requirement of percentage for Civil Services. But you should have completed all your subjects of your academic career. Once you fulfill this criteria you are absolutely eligible for Civil Service Exams.
For the details about the Civil Services you just look at the UPSC official website. In general the selection procedure will be conducted by UPSC once in every year. No percentage criteria in Graduation is required to apply for Civil Services examination. Candidates who have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to appear in Civil Service examination. Eligibility criteria required to appear in Civil Services examination is mentioned below :-
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. 3. You must be in between 21-32 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. 4. You must be physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the Civil Services examination. |

Civil service exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree. Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducts civil services examinations in India.
Civil services examinations conducted by UPSC are IAS, IPS, IFS, IES. Common eligibility to appear in civil services examination are -Candidate must be citizen of India -Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree in any disciple from a recognized university with more than 45% marks -Candidate must be of age 21-30 years -Relaxation is available for candidates according to govt rules i.e 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. Number of attempts is also limited in civil services examination which is 4 for general, 6 for OBC and no limit for SC/ST candidates. For IES(Indian Engineering Service), candidates must have completed Bachelor of Engineering(B.E) or Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) with more than 45% marks from a recognized university. So, candidates need to have more than 45% marks in Bachelor degree course to become eligible. |

There is no minimum percentage of marks required in order to apply for Civil Services examination. Those who have passed their graduation without having any active pending backlogs are eligible for examination.
They must have attained the minimum age of 21 years on 01st August of year of exam. You just need to satisfy both these criteria in order to apply for exam. |

There is no minimum percentage in graduation required to appear for Civil Services examination.
As per UPSC candidates with passing percentage in bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear for Civil Services examination. The age limit for examination is between 21-32 years +3 and +5 years relaxation in upper age limit for OBC and SC/ST. To get mote information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. The examination is conducted in Preliminary, Mains and Interview stage and candidate have to qualify in all these stages for final selection. |

1. Graduation from a recognized university. If you have no arrears and you have passed your graduation then you are eligible for this exam. In other words, pass marks in bachelor's degree in any stream is enough to apply for this exam. 2. Age criteria: 21-32 years. Upper age relaxation for reserved candidates. |

There is no such minimum marks required for Civil Service Examination. Those candidates who have completed their Graduation with pass marks are eligible to apply. The candidate age should be reached 21 years and should not reached 32 years and relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates.
