Sir/Mam,

Please tell me can I do training after second year b.tech (m.e) without authority letter given by college that means can I do training directly? Is it possible to do so? Can you please let me know what is the procedure I need to follow?

You can not do summer training from any recognized organization without authority letter or training letter issued from college. The training letter is an important document needed to get enrolled for summer training in organizations like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL etc.

It is better for you to wait for one morr year when your institute will issue training letter for training as a part of curriculum. However, you can do unofficial training from any organization if you know someone inside organization as a reference.

Most of the companies won't allow training for student who are studying without any authority letter from the college head. Hence, it is not possible to get training without prior approval from college.

Companies follows some rules in case of trainee and interns and it will be difficult to go against the rules because there is a fixed time for every thing in industry.
