It is not that easy to join ISRO. Also, your percentage alone will not determine as to whether you can work with ISRO or not.
This is the norm for most of the companies(private or public) now, that they look at your co-curricular and extra curricular achievements. More than that they also yearn for your academic credentials and achievements outside of your professional degree. ISRO does follow all of these things with an additional emphasis on your influence and attraction towards pure sciences. This includes whether you have done any projects in the past or been a part of science fair and won a medal or done experiments or projects in this field etc. You need to look at all of the above things and then think about whether you have a chance or not. ISRO being such a reputed organization has set a minimum criteria of 80% in graduation which is the percentage as per your transcript. Moreover, they definitely do not entertain any individual student who goes through with his/her application directly. You must go through one of the following firms who may have a contact in ISRO and may know the procedure to apply there or even any other big company. These firms are Accelaar(only on facebook), Marxus, Young2Junior etc. |
