Whether training on Embedded Systems is better option for 2nd year student?

Yes, it will be a good option if you have interest in that field and want to pursue higher studies in that field or want to lead your professional life in that sphere. You will not have good point to highlight in your resume but also it will help you in the further studies in your graduation course especially if you are from electronics branch. Apart from this, you will also know the real world implementation of various concepts and the evolution of electronic gadgets. If you are not interested in this field, you should go for IT certification as there are ample employment opportunities in the IT sector.
