Respected Sir, I just want to know that how I can secure admission in Central University of Orissa for PhD program in Journalism and Mass Communication? Please let me know about the procedure to get admission for this course in this college? Waiting for your response!

Admission procedure to study PhD(Journalism and Mass Communication) in Central University of Orissa:-

In order to pursue PhD course in Journalism and Mass Communication from Central University of Orissa, you must have to gain a master's degree in the relevant field to be eligible for the phd course.

Candidates those who have completed their master's degree studying journalism and mass communication from a recognised University with a minimum of 55% of marks in it are eligible to opt for the phd course in journalism and mass communication from Central University of Orissa.

Candidates who have completed their masters degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Duration of PhD Journalism and Mass Communication is 3 years.

UGC NET,SLET and GATE is the entrance exam.

The admission procedure to study PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Central University of Orissa is a candidate must have passed a post-graduation in a relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of the CUCET entrance test followed by a personal interview.

Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of CUCET. After registration fills out the application form with all the required details. After filling out the application form go to the university and select the Central University of Odisha and select program details. CSIR, UGC NET and SLET is the entrance exam.

1. The selection for The program will be on the basis of the Entrance Examination followed by the Viva-voce Test.

2. Any candidate with 55% marks in PostGraduation in Journalism and/or Mass Communication from a recognized University/ Institution (5% relaxation will be given to OBC (Non-Creamy layers)/SC/ST/PwD candidates and for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991).
