Respected Sir, I just want to know that how I can secure admission in Osmania University for PhD program in Library & Information Science? Please let me know about the procedure to get admission for this course in this college? Waiting for your response!

In order to be eligible for admission, candidate must have a PG degree with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university.

The admission is based on entrance / merit.
If they have qualified UGC NET or CSIR NET or GATE or GPAT exam, they will be eligible for admission, and such students will be exempted from entrance exam.
For application purpose , you may visit online website of college.

Admission procedure:-
Candidates must have a master's degree in library & informatics Science or allied subjects with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.
Some Entrance exam for PhD Library & Information Science is UGC NET , CSIR NET etc..Duration of this course is 2- 3 years.

The admission procedure to study PhD in Library & Information Science at Osmania University is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of PhD eligibility test which is conducted by the university.
