Hello everyone, I want to join Assam Science and Technology University for studying PhD(Mathematics). I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission in this university for this PhD course. Waiting for your response!

Admission procedure to study PhD(Mathematics) in Assam Science and Technology University is as follows.

Applicant can get admission through entrance exam conducted by university followed by interview.

Applicant can also get admission through UGC NET or CSIR exam.

Applicant's final selection will be done through interview.

The admission procedure to study a PhD in Mathematics at Assam Science and Technology University is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the concerned subject with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of performance in entrance test followed by an interview which is conducted by the university.

Interested candidate can apply online through university website www.astu.ac.in. First of all candidates has to register themselves at CEE (Combined Entrance Examination) and there after login with the details. Fill the application form with all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee online through Net banking/debit/credit card and submit the form.
