Respected Sir, I am interested to study PhD(Mathematics) from Assam Science and Technology University. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying and studying this PhD course. Please tell me about the eligibility criteria asap.

Eligibility to study PhD(Mathematics) in Assam Science and Technology University is as follows.

Applicant must have secured minimum 55% in master degree to get admission.

Applicant can get admission through entrance exam conducted by university followed by interview.

Applicant's final selection will be done through interview.

The eligibility to study a PhD in Mathematics at Assam Science and Technology University is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the concerned subject with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. There is no specific age limit is applicable for this course. Admission selection will be on the basis of performance in entrance test followed by an interview which is conducted by the university. The candidates who have already qualified UGC/JRF/NET examination will be exempted from the written test but will have to appear for the interview.
