Re: Am I eligible to apply for CSIR-UGC-NET if pursuing B.Tech(Chemical Engineering) 3rd year?
After completion of your B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with at least 60% marks from an AICTE approved college you will become eligible for CSIR NET. Those in final year can also apply but they have to submit a letter from the college Principal regarding confirmation of your course completion. There is relaxation for 5% marks candidates who belong to reserved category.
You will be eligible for Chemical Science subject only. Also, note that you will be only eligible for JRF if you are a Bachelor degree holder. For Lectureship Master's degree is a must in CSIR NET. Therefore, if you fulfil the criteria then be prepared for the exam. For more information visit http://www.csirhrdg.res.in |
