Re: Am I eligible to do Ph.D in KSOU after completion of MA in Literature with 51% marks?
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to do Ph.D in KSOU since you have scored only 51% of marks in MA.
Eligibility criteria to do Ph.D:- Candidates must have completed Master's degree from a recognised University. Candidates must have scored at least 55% of marks in Master's degree. Candidates must have a valid NET scorecard. |

Re: Am I eligible to do Ph.D in KSOU after completion of MA in Literature with 51% marks?
You need 55% marks in MA degree to become eligible for Ph.D admission in India in any UGC recognized university. For reserved category there is 5% relaxation of marks.
Hence, if you belong to reserved category then 51% marks is fine for Ph.D admission after relaxation of 5% marks. |

Re: Am I eligible to do Ph.D in KSOU after completion of MA in Literature with 51% marks?
I am sorry to say that you cannot opt for the PhD course if you have been unable to score a minimum of 55% in aggregate in your PG course as it is the minimum educational requirement in order to opt for PhD course in future from any recognized University.
Therefore, as of now I am sorry to say that you cannot opt for it. |
