Am I eligible for doing Ph.D in Sanskrit if have done MA in Dharmasastra?


I am a high school teacher having MA in DHARMASASTRA, am I eligible for phd? Can someone please provide me the complete details which I need to follow up for the same? Awaiting to get the answer from you all soon. Thank you!

After completion of MA in DHARMASASTRA, you are eligible for Ph.D course in Sanskrit but you must have valid UGC NET score.

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria.
