Both universities are good for PhD in mathematics but IIT BHU is a better research center in Aisa than DU. So, BHU is better than DU if we talk about PhD course.

Placement is same in both universities.

It's difficult to say which one is better between the two.
The location is quite good , being in a metro city and that too in capital of India.
One should always prefer metropolitan cities as it offers them greater opportunity.

In both the places, the quality of Education is all same . However big names of DU are ahead of BHU.

BHU is slightly better in research particularly in science.
If you are planning to get in to any top college of DU, you must go for it.
