Yes, you can apply for Ph.D course because Ph.D course doesn't require any age criteria.

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria.

You must have valid GATE, UGC NET, CSIR NET etc score.

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for PhD course after completing MA in Sociology. There is no age limit required to apply for PhD course. Those who wish to join PhD course should have completed 2 years Master Degree in any discipline from any institute recognized by UGC. In addition to this, candidates must appear and qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the respective or those candidates who have qualified in UGC NET entrance are exempt from the entrance exam.
