Can I apply for UGC NET with less than 55% marks in MA in History?

Hello Sir, I am doing my M.A. in History, but I think I can't obtain 55%. Am I eligible for UGC NET before improving my grade?

Sorry, you are not eligible to apply for UGC NET test with less than 55% marks in MA History. Candidates who have obtained at least 55% marks in MA History examinations from a university recognized by UGC shall be eligible for the UGC NET test. So you should get at least 55% marks in MA History to be eligible for UGC NET. The eligibility details can be seen in the website link given here Click Here

If you haven't got 55% marks in masters degree, then you are eligible for UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
