Can I do Research without pursuing PhD if completed M.Sc in Biotechnology about 8 years ago?
Hi Madam/Sir,
I have done my M.Sc in Biotechnology in 8 years ago. I am interested to do research but unfortunately I didn't get admission in PhD anywhere. Kindly tell me I can do research without PhD? |

You can join as a Junior Research Fellow in various research projects which are available in your field. Normally, candidates who qualify exams like NET/SLET/JRF/GATE are preferred for these fellowships.
Master's degree with at least 55% marks in the minimum requirement for these fellowships. Therefore, if you are interested in research work without doing Ph.D then JRF is the best options available and it will also help you in getting admission in various Ph.D program. |
