Can I study PhD in Economics in Shivaji University with Stipend?


Hi Friends,
I have completed my M.Phil in Economics from Mumbai University. Now I want to enroll myself in Shivaji University for PhD program in Economics. I want to know that I can get stipend for doing PhD in Shivaji University or not?

You have completed M.Phil course in Economics from Mumbai University so you are are eligible for Ph.D in Shivaji University with stipend.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D entrance exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.
