Can I study PhD program being a Steel Industry employee and having an MBA and BE courses?
Dear Sir, I have completed my BE graduation in Mechanical Engineering and then completed MBA in Operations while doing job in a steel industry. Further I am interested to do PhD in topics related to steel industries. I have a quality work experience of 8 years. I would like to know that I can pursue PhD related to my educational as well as professional background? My topic of interest is on a particular additive and the process used to improvise the quality and quantity. Please guide me!

Yes you can pursue for PhD , but you need to appear for the UGC NET exam with your subject specialization and you need to clear that because it is a mandatory criteria for the admission.
You need to have 50 percent aggregate in Masters degree also. |
