Chances for MS/PhD in IITs with GATE life science marks of 53.67?
hi friends, i scored 53.67 in XL paper - GATE 2011 . My AIR is 225 - 98.3%ile. What are my chances of doing MS/PhD biotechnology in IITs ( esp. IIT-M) ?? Will i be shortlisted for interview atleast ? Will there be a separate entrance test plus interview ? What are my chances in biotechnology considering i wrote lifescience paper ? ( im a btech . biopharmaceutical technology graduate )..... Please Reply.

For students from any recognised institute or university other than IISc, IITs , NITs, CFTIs , the requirement of GATE score is reduced to 650 from 750 apart from minimum CGPA of 8 or equivalent.
Those who wish to get direct admission into IITs must try to score nearly 1000. |
