Eligibility to appear in UGC-NET for a candidate who has completed MS(Mechanical Engineering) from France?
Hello Sir, I have done my MS(Mechanical Engineering) from France. I am an Indian and I did my BTech in India. I want to give UGC-NET for Engineering Sciences. I want to know that I am eligible for applying in UGC-NET as my certificate is from Abroad?

Candidate who have completed MS(Mechanical Engineering) from France are not eligible to appear in UGC-NET. To be eligible to appear for UGC-NET, you must possesses the following eligibility criteria;
You must hold a master's degree or equivalent from UGC recognised universities/institutions in Humanities (including languages)/Social Science/Computer Science & Applications/Electronic Science etc. You must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree (50% marks for OBC(non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates).
