Re: Eligibility to apply in CSIR-NET for B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering) final year student?
If you have got at least 60% marks in your B.Tech degree from a recognized University then you are definitely eligible for CSIR NET. For reserved category candidates there is relaxation of 5% marks. Being a B.Tech degree holder you will be eligible for CSIR NET according to the notification released.
You have to choose Engineering sciences subject for the exam. Not only B.Tech holders but MBBS, B.Pharm and B.V.Sc graduates are also eligible for CSIR NET if they fulfill the percentage criteria. |
