Eligibility to do PhD in Applied Physics for a Physics postgraduate?


Respected Sir,
I am an M.Sc(Physics) postgraduate. I want to do PhD in Applied Physics. Can you tell me that am I eligible for this? Please help me to know about this.

Yes, you are eligible to do Ph.D course in Applied Physics.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree in Physics or its equivalent from a recognized university are eligible for SET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria for lectureship post.
