Sir, this year, I have completed my MA in Bengali from Burdwan University through distance education and secured 50% marks. Can I be eligible for to secure PhD admission in Bengali in Calcutta University?

Eligibility to secure PhD(Bengali) admission in Calcutta University for a distance MA postgraduate with 50% marks is;

You must have completed MA with minimum aggregate of 55% as a general category student.

If you belong to reserved category then you can get admission with 50% marks also.
