Hi everyone, I am a student of MPhil. After completing my MPhil, I want to do PhD in Social Sciences. Can I know my eligibility to do PhD(Social Sciences) in Central University of Gujarat?

There are three subcategories in Social Sciences department in which PhD is offered at Central university of Gujarat.
1. Studies in Science, technology and Innovation Policy
2. Economics
3. Social Management

The eligibility criteria for doing PhD in Social Management is as follows.
>> A Candidate must get 55% of marks in Master's degree. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC must get 50% of marks in Master's degree from any recognised university.

>> The candidate who completed their M.Phil. degree in Management/Social Sciences/Police Studies/Criminal Justice/Criminology or candidates having 2 years of work experience at managerial position or equivalent research experience with publication are preferred.
