Hi Sir/Madam, I just want to know about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies for studying PhD program in Civil Engineering. Kindly tell me about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission for this PhD program in this university.

Admission is based on National level entrance exam followed by an Interview
Some of the entrance exam are
UGC NET
UGC CSIR NET
GATE
M.Phil
SET
SLET etc

Entrance exam available to study Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies?

Selection of the candidates for the Ph. D. will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination and viva-voice, both conducted by the university.

The candidates are invited for the CBT examination and candidates qualifying in the CBT examination shall be called for the viva-voce Examination.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called GATE and NET JRF to study PhD Civil Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies.

Qualification required for PhD Civil Engineering is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks.
