Dear friends, I am looking forward to join IISR-Calicut for studying PhD program in Genetics & Plant Breeding. I would like to know about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission for this PhD program in this institute.

For the admission PhD(Genetics & Plant Breeding) in IISR-Calicut, you need to qualify any one of the All India Entrance Examination , i.e., ICAR-JRF (PGS)/ICAR-SRF(PGS)/CSIR-UGC-JRF/CSIR-SRF.

If you have registered in any of their mentioned University and wish to continue your research here, then you would need to contact the HRD, ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode, who will allocate a guide for you.

Else, you need to apply through their online portal on their website. If your application is shortlisted then you need to give a presentation about your area of interest. Based upon that you will be selected and a guide will be allocated according to the vacancy.
