Entrance exam available to study PhD(Mathematics) in NIT-Rourkela?
I want to join NIT-Rourkela for studying PhD(Mathematics) course. Can I know about the entrance exam through which I can get admission? Kindly let me know about the entrance exam immediately. Thank you!

Admission to the PhD (Mathematics) program in NIT – Rourkela is given, preferably to the applicants who are eligible for institute fellowship or have qualified for external fellowships. However, admission is also considered without fellowship. Students with external fellowship like JRF-NET are encouraged to apply for the PhD (Mathematics) admission in NIT – Rourkela. Selection for the PhD (Mathematics) in NIT – Rourkela will be made on the basis of academic record, qualification, candidate’s research interest, existing research programs and facilities of the department and performance of the candidates in tests and/or interviews. |
