Entrance exam to secure PhD(Mathematics) in Assam Science and Technology University? Cutoff score required to secure admission?
Hi Sir, I am interested to join Assam Science and Technology University for PhD(Mathematics). I would like to know about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission and pursue this PhD program in this university. Kindly let me know about the cutoff score as well.

Entrance exam to secure PhD(Mathematics) in Assam Science and Technology University is as follows.
Applicant can get admission through entrance exam conducted by university followed by interview. Applicant can also get admission through UGC NET or equivalent exam. Applicant must have secured minimum 50% in master degree to get admission. Applicant's final selection will be done through interview. |

Yes, Entrance examination is available to study a PhD in Mathematics at Assam Science and Technology University. Admission selection will be on the basis of performance in entrance test followed by an interview which is conducted by the university. The candidates who have already qualified UGC/JRF/NET examination will be exempted from the written test but will have to appear for the interview. The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates appearing for the test.
The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the concerned subject with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. I am also giving you the university website link for your reference that is www.astu.ac.in |
