Hello everyone, I am looking forward to doing a PhD in History from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya. So, I would like to know about the entrance exams through which I can secure admission. Can anyone of you kindly let me know about the cutoff marks through which I can secure admission?

Entrance exams to study Ph.D(History) in Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya:-

1.UGC NET

2.University entrance exam

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% from a recognized University are eligible for PhD program.

Yes, Entrance examination is available to study PhD in History at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya. Admission selection is done through VRET (Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test) which is conducted by the college followed by an interview.

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates appearing for the test.
