How to become a Professor in Commerce stream?


Well actually i have taken commerce stream and want to become a professor then what should i do? How to become a professor?

Eligibility to become a professor in commerce stream:

1. You need to pursue M.Com after graduation from any university.

2. You must get 1st division in post graduation course.

3. You will have to qualify the NET exam to become eligible for Assistant Professor.

Master's degree in any subject is required to enroll to the position of Professor. Apart from this you must have qualified NET exam. Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks is the qualification required for NET.

Procedure to become a Professor in Commerce stream is as follows.

Applicant should complete Bachelor Degree in Commerce than go for Master degree in Commerce or relevant subjects.

Complete master degree with minimum 55% from recognized university.

Now, Applicant should appear and crack UGC NET/CSIR or equivalent exam.

On the basis of score of UGC NET/ CSIR applicant will be eligible to apply for the position of professor in any recognized college.

If applicant could crack interview than he/she will be recruited as professor.

You need to have post graduation degree in commerce with good academic record minimum 55% or an equivalent grade at master's degree level. In addition you need to clear NET examination conducted by U.G.C.

The process is same for Commerce stream candidates also.
You have to complete Post Graduation with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
After that if you want to pursue PhD. then go for that but from regular mode you will be exempted from entrance exam.
Otherwise after completing Post Graduation you have to clear entrance exam like- NET, GATE,CSIR NET, SLET to be eligible to become Professor.

Procedure to become a Professor in Commerce stream:-

Apart from this you must have qualified NET exam. Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks is the qualification required for NET. The test is conducted by UPSC 2 times a year. NET qualified candidates can apply to the position of Professor through college/ state PSC portal.

Procedure to become a professor in Commerce stream:-

Aspirants must have completed M.com in Commerce stream with at least 55% marks from any recognised university or its equivalent. Then you need to clear UGC NET exams apart from your Master's degree. Finally, you can pursue your PhD. Once you clear NET exam you are eligible to become a professor in Commerce.
