How can I become a Professor through a PhD(Mathematics) course of Netaji Subhas Open University?
Hello everyone, I want to become a Professor and I am going to enroll for a PhD in Mathematics program at Netaji Subhas Open University? I have searched alot but couldn’t get the information. Please help me to know how I can become a Professor if I study this PhD program at this university?

To become a professor, an associate professor the candidate must have a PhD in the relevant field and should have published work of high quality, be actively engaged in research of high quality with a minimum of 10 publications like books, research, or policy papers with evidence of published work and should have minimum 12-14 years of experience in teaching or research field.
The minimum qualification required is the National Eligibility Test NET/SLET which is conducted by UGC (University Grant Commission). The candidate must have passed a Master's degree with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. |
