To register for a PhD after completing an M.Sc in Medical Anatomy, you will need to follow these general steps:
  • Identify the universities or research institutions that offer PhD programs in Medical Anatomy or related fields.
  • Look for a research supervisor whose research interests align with yours and with whom you can work on your PhD thesis. You can find potential supervisors by looking at the faculty list of the relevant departments or research groups.
  • Once you have identified a supervisor, you will need to contact them and express your interest in doing a PhD under their supervision. You will also need to discuss your research ideas and make sure that they are feasible and fit within the scope of the research program of the department or research group.
  • Once you have received the approval from your potential supervisor, you will need to apply to the PhD program at the university or research institution. The application process will vary depending on the institution, but typically you will need to submit your academic transcripts, a research proposal, a statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation.
  • If your application is successful, you will be offered a place in the PhD program, and you can begin your research under the supervision of your chosen advisor.

As for the Rajiv Gandhi fellowship program, it is a scheme offered by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India to support PhD research in social sciences and humanities. Therefore, it may not be applicable to your field of study. However, there may be other fellowship programs or funding opportunities that you can explore through the university or research institution where you plan to pursue your PhD.
