How to convert Full time PhD to Part time?
Is there any possibilities to convert the full time PhD to Part time in Bharathiar University?

A student requesting such a conversion must:
1- Have completed the course-work, passed the comprehensive examination, given in the "State of Art " Seminar in the topic no. 10 which is adjudged as satisfactory, and completed the residence requirements. 2- Get the request endorsed by the supervisor(s) and the DPGC. |

It is difficult and it cannot be changed from full time to part time, but you can discontinue the course and start from the fresh course.
Apply for the course fresh and start the course in the preferred location for you. |

There are two ways of part time Ph.D.
1 - You work in an organization, you do your research in that organisation ( typically DRDO, ISRO labs). 2 - The other way is to register at Open University or any State University for part time / full time Ph.D and request for research support from a professor.
