I recently qualified JRF batch Dec. I didn't receive my JRF award letter and e l-certificate yet, please let me know that how much time will it taken by UGC to complete the procedure.

It will take maximum 3 month.

UGC do complete the JRF procedure within 2 weeks minimum.

You will be getting stipend from 1st month of your PhD program.

Your age should be less than 28 years to secure JRF.

If you join some other institute as a CSIR-JRF, such as ICMR, DBT, DRDO institutes or any other university, it may take upto 3–7 months or more. It varies. If you join IIT as a CSIR-JRF, you can expect fellowship from next month.
