You can refer following books for Botany. These books are very popular among those who are preparing for CSIR NET.

1. Plant Physiology and Biochemistry by Salisbury or Ross or Taiz and Zeiger or Pandey & Sinha

2. Ecology by P.D. Sharma or Odum or Vir Bala Rastogi

3. Economic Botany by Kochar or Verma or BP Pandey

4. Embryology by Bhojwani and Bhatnagar

5. Plant Anatomy by Esau or B.P. Pandey

6. Taxonomy by Nair along with Datta

7. Lower Boiology (Algae, Fungi, Bryophyta, Pteridophyta, Gymnosperms) by Singh, Pandey & Jain

8. Bacteria & Virus by H.C.Dubey
