I am pursuing PhD from thapar university as regular candidate. But rules and regulations of the university are changing frequently from stiphen and teaching assistant point of view. That are applicable to all regardless of the admission batch. So I want to migrate to some other university. As I heard that Smiriti Irani has made some provision specially for women candidates for migration.
Kindly guide.

The migration is not possible under present rules.
All you can do is finish your degree from the same university where you are presently registered or you have to start a fresh.
Re register through all the formalities in a new university.
A candidate can be exempted from the course if they don't finish it in their current university.
One cannot change research guide also.

Yes, you can migrate your PhD from one university to another and for that, you must have a consent letter from the target university and must have mentioned that the university is ready to supervise the candidate. You also need to produce the NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the current university and must have mentioned that the university has no issue wherever the candidate pursues further research.
